From the pizzas, pastas, to katsu there’s also have salads, sandwiches to please those with light palattes. Not only that, they also have local favourites have to try the lam mee or kueh teow soup, milk tea and the side dishes one of which is the unique crispy curry chicken roti served fresh from the oven.
Kissaten is all about mixing Asian with Continental and everything in between. Another things that I discovered is Jaya One have a lot of cafe and restaurant.
We went for a nearby Japanese lunch at Kissaten in Jaya One. Thanks to Joanna for the recommendation ^^I quite like this place and the simplicity interior of the restaurant makes it clean and clear. Not mention the menu, it served Japanese food and mix with some western. You can find from pasta, to burgers and pizza in the menu.
On that day, I choose Mentaiko Spaghetti Set which is only RM26.80 for the lunch set. The set came with Mentaiko Spaghetti, Mushroom Soup, Salad and a cup of Coffee/Tea. Joanna choose Salmon Salad and Cream Caramel.
The portion quite a lot. The raw salmon really thick and the vegetable also fresh. The garden vegetable that they use such as tomato, cabbage, cucumber really make your lunch healthy. At first I thought that the portion really small but it’s not!
Actually I really like Japanese marinated cod roe and obviously when it’s served with spaghetti. Tarako or karashi-mentaiko is marinated cod roe commonly served with steamed rice in Japan but it also goes with spaghetti as well. Everything was fine only the spaghetti not really nice.
7/10 for the service. Efficient & Friendly.
7/10 for the food quality and quantity. Worth and price reasonable.
8/10 for the environment. Cosy interior, clean and comfortable.
