Popeyes star begin in 1972, when AI Copeland opened a quick-service restaurant called “Chicken on the Run”. The restaurant served traditional mild fried chicken to the folks in the small New Orleans suburb of Arabi. Unfortunately, business was slow. Copeland realized that he’d have to sell a spicier alternative to his standard chicken recipe if he wanted to impress flavor-seeking New Orleanians.

In a nationwide taste test, Popeyes beat Church Chicken and KFC. As a result, Popeyes launched a campaign, “America’s Fried Chicken Champ – The Spicy Taste That Can’t Be Beat.”

Mashed potato Coleslaw. The mashed potato topped with gravy + chicken meat. Quite nice and the gravy is made from chicken stock and blackpepper.

Shrimps @ RM13.95. The shrimp size small and there have a lot flour.

3pcs Tender @ RM9.50. Damn small and I rather eat KFC by the way. The chicken meat tender and not too bad. Taste, KFC lose but if wanna compare from size side, KFC win.

2pcs Fish @ RM10.95. They not use a normal fish fillet like what normally other fast food do. This fish fillet have some smell. Too salty.

Overall I will vote:
8/10 for the service. Efficient.
7/10 for the food quality and quantity of the food better then KFC but the portion too small.
6/10 for the environment. Ordinary fast food restaurant.
