Most of people know what is cendul right? Actually I had a wrong information about this stall. I have searching it’s for 2 days. Lost map la.hehe.. You can find a lot of cendul along the street. To spot the famous stall is very easy. By looking at the number of customers you can know it. Seems like quite a number of celebrities have visited this “Teo Chew Chendul” stall like Phua Chu Kang and Mary all the way from Singapore. Their photos, with a big thumbs up sign are being displayed proudly in front of the stall.
This is their famous cendol, quite good actually. The cendul contains the usual green starch noodles, coconut milk, shaved ice and red beans. This cendul has brown sugar in it.. making it even sweeter. Normally I don’t like the red bean, but this one I feel want add some more. The red bean sweet ^^
Overall I will vote:
8/10 for the service. Fast service.
8/10 for the food quality and quantity of the food excellent. Really nice cendol in Penang town and price reasonable.
8/10 for the environment. From roadside, now they have a better place to sit.
Lebuh Keng Wee,
