Last few month, I had my visit to Chillax where one of the famous “makan place” for the HELP College students. It’s offer you western and Asian food at the cosy and comfortable interior. Jeremy was told me that they serve nice carbonara. So, I give it a try and the result?
Let’s the picture do talking.
Spaghetti Carbonara @ RM12.90
When talk about the carbonara, I still can’t find the nice carbonara if want compare my last visit at Kitchen Creatures. At Chillax, their carbonara also not bad where there not use bacon but used minced meat on the gravy. This spicy interpretation of spaghetti carbonara is made with common ingredients including minced chicken, garlic, black pepper, red pepper, parmesan cheese etc…
Spaghetti Bolognese @ RM11.90
The spaghetti came together with 2 slices of garlic butter. For me, Spaghetti Bolognese usually features at least two different kinds of meat, the meat is usually minced, not ground, and milk or cream in some measure is added at some point. For this spaghetti, I only can taste the beef meat. The spaghetti was not too cook but just into perfection.
I prefer my bolognese to have a rich, deep taste of tomato, and meat. I also like the meat to be ground quite finely so that you get an integrated ‘meat sauce’, rather than ‘bits of meat suspended in a sauce’.
8/10 for the service. Friendly service and efficient.
7/10 for the food quality and quantity of the food. Price reasonable and worth to try.
7/10 for the environment. Cosy interior and fully air-conditioner.
