I still remember that my previous visit to the beach + stay at the resorts is around 8years ago. I do not have a lot of time to have fun and chilling at the seaside. I love beach! The most things that I love to do is jogging by the seaside during sunrise and sunset.
Thanks to Holiday Villa and Advertlets for giving me this opportunity to travel to Cherating, Pahang. Thanks to Jason who drove all the way from KL-Cherating-KL. This is my first time in my life went to Cherating, Pahang. The best part is, I had fun with some of other bloggers from Advertlets in Cherating.
The main highlight is their 21st annual sand sculpting competition that organized by Holiday Villa Cherating. For those who do not know, Holiday Villa Sand sculpting was their 21st Annual Sand sculpting competition. Yes! IT is a year-long anticipated showdown between sand sculpting fanatics out there!
Since this is my first time try the sand sculpting I really do not have any idea how it gonna be. This time the theme is Animal World. The worst part is, my team do not have any tools to make the sand sculpting but since we are so clever and friendly, we manage to “create” our own tools as well as borrow some of the tools from other group. There have 2 teams from Advertlets who try to create an animal from the sand!
Check it out some of the pictures of us having fun, sandsculpting at Holiday Villa Cherating, Pahang.
Josh came out with the lobster idea but it is turn out as giant lobster! The reason that we choose lobster because of lobsters have a good segmented body shape, easy to translate to sand. Not only that, everyone is going to do turtles or snakes. Predictably. (Which was correct – there ended up more than 6 teams doing turtles out of 30 teams)
Team Advertlets 1:
The other animal was created by the contestant such as octopus, turtle, starfish, monkey, hyppo, and they even have angry birds! Some of other sand sculpting that created by the other contestant are:
This is the group who won 2nd prize and at the same time who lend us their tools as well. Thanks and congrats!
