New Parking in Taylor’s Lakeside Campus Located in Bandar Sunway PJS7?
One of the major problems that are faced by Taylor’s University Lakeside campus students is parking lot. They not only have limited parking lots but the distance between Taylor’s building and the parking lot is rather far. As students start their lecturer at different time, hence those come late to the University will face problem in finding parking lot. Even they have found a parking lot; they still have to walk from the parking bay which is quite a distance from the campus building.
Apart from that, students have to pay RM 3 to park at certain areas. After 10am, if the staff parking has empty slots, students can park their car at the staff parking lot as long they have parking sticker on the car. They can apply the parking sticker at student life centre. Since Taylors does not have sufficient parking lots, some students would park their car at the roadside. Most of the time, student’s car would get clamped.
For your information, Taylor’s University has two entrances. The main entrance is opened to anyone. The second entrance (back entrance) is only opened for Bandar Sunway PJS7 residents and those who take Rapid KL bus to the school.
I do not know how come some of the Taylor’s students manage to get the access card for the back entrance. Maybe they use a fake bus ticket to apply the access card in student central? (If you one of the resident, you will get what I mean) Since there are a lot of empty parking slots in Bandar Sunway PJS7 housing area, Taylor’s student like to park their car over there due to the short distance between the parking lot and the campus building.
Since Taylor’s students often park their car at inappropriate places, the Bandar Sunway PJS7 community came out with “parking-system” recently. They even paint the parking lot by their self. Any students who park their car in this housing area will be charge RM3 per entry. Usually two Indian men will sit and wait for the students to approach them and rather rude to the students while collecting the payment.
Sometimes I wonder whether Taylor’s students know how to read signboards or not. My English is not good (=P) but at least I still can read and understand.
My suggestion is.. I suggest you guys park your car inside the Taylor’s University. Since a lot of students car get scratches. Including mine even though I stay there =(
Currently I am in the middle of My Selangor Story 2011 blogger competition. I hope that you guys can help me by voting me and share my blog post to your friend =) I really need your help to win this competition.
Let’s see other blog post of My Selangor Story 2011:
Fun-Test-Trick is just around the corner and it is time to anticipate and get excited! If you are a student of Taylor’s College, it is now or never to grab a friend of yours and register for the team competition. Stand a chance to win RM1000, RM800 and RM600 worth of cash and prizes (winner, first runner up and second runner up respectively). The participation fee is RM35 per person and that makes RM70 per team.
On the other hand, if you are the type of person who prefer to fly solo, we have an individual competition just you. The participation fee is just RM15 and knives are provided. However, in order to compete in this particular category, you have got to have the skills in order to win a cash prize of RM200. Yes, there will only be one winner and it will be decided by the public through voting slips.
What kind of skills are they talking about? …
Carving skills! The participants for the individual competition are required to carve a given fruit based on a famous festival; Halloween. We call it “The Mystery Fruit” because we do not plan to reveal it until the very last second before the competition begins. We would like to limit the chance of participants Googling or suddenly evolving into bookworms prior to the day of the competition. We enjoy raw and true skills; we believe the public does too.
Due to the fact that Fun-Test-Trick is held on Halloween day, everyone is welcomed to add a little sugar and spice by dressing up. We already guarantee that there are tricks but how about treats? For that, you would have to join us in your favorite costume and find out for yourself.

The 1st day of their roadshow…manage to know about the event when I drop by @ Taylor College.
Locate @ outside of Subang Jaya KTM Station. This stall have a great apam balik in Subang Jaya area. Halim run his business since 1985 and not only located at Subang Jaya.
Halim apam balik (pancake) is a thin, flat cake prepared from a batter and cooked on a hot griddle or frying pan. Most of his pancakes are quick breads. He use a fermented batter. Halim pancakes are cooked one side on a griddle and flipped partway through to cook the other side. A crêpe is a very thin and large pancake cooked on one side that is rolled and stuffed.
The sugar that melt and mix well wit a peanut and flour make a pancake taste nice and sweet. The butter and egg aroma bring up the taste of pancake.
There have 2 choices for a customer to buy. Thin @ RM 0.60 per pcs. Thick @ RM1.20 per pcs (can buy half of it with RM0.60)
I bought a thin version which is the skin crispy and on the middle of pancake is soft and juicy.
P.S.: This is based on individual’s taste and liking and if there’s any other further questions about this restaurant or the food, feel free to drop a comment. Thanks!
The first thing when I came to Langkawi, I was looking for sports store to get my swimming trunks, goggles and some jogging pants. On my way to Kuah town from the jetty, I saw Al-Ikhsan near with our house. It was easily spotted because it just located at the roadside.
Even in Kuala Lumpur, Al-Ikhsan is one of the cheapest place for you to get your original sport outfit. Unfortunately I would say their design is slightly outdated but hey, they have good deal why not?
P/S: Photos taken with HTC One M9 Plus
So, Al-Ikhsan is one of the best sport store in Langkawi Island that sell sporting apparel and footwear. Personally, I will go for Puma and Under Armour. To know that Under Armour only available in their official store or gym, I go for Puma instead. Basically you can get sports apparels and equipment under one roof. If you really need some cheap and nice sport apparels, make sure you prepare some good cash and time over here. You will definitely spend few hours over here.
At the moment I’m wearing Puma Ignite shoes for my workout. It’s so comfortable and reduce my foot pain especially when I use it for climbing.
