Recently, I tried to like and learn street photoshooting. Somehow, during my research most of the photo is black and white or sepia and some of it only fully color. For those who know my style, I prefer color. Since our life so colorful XP
11. Practice makes Perfect – over time and with practice your photography will improve. You’ll not only get better at technique but also spotting the things to focus upon on the street.
12. Fortune Favors the Brave – sometimes the best thing you can do is to get close to your subject – this can be a little confronting but will produce powerful images.
13. Fun in the Sun – often we try to avoid shooting into the sun and the shadows that direct sunlight can produce – in street photography breaking these ‘rules’ can lead to great shots.
14. Ready to Pounce – have your camera out and ready to shoot at all times. Things can move quickly on the street so if you’re not ready you’ll miss lots of opportunities.
15. Revise the Revisit – street photography is not all about spontaneity – if you see a scene with potential don’t be afraid to keep coming back to it until you get the shot.
16. Frozen Motion – the street is a place of movement – to capture it and still get sharp shots make sure your shutter speed is fast enough. 1/125 or more with an ISO of 400 is what this article recommended as a base. I also think it can be fun to experiment with slower shutter speeds on the street – capture the movement as blur.
17. Street Wallpaper – blend in with the scene – shoot unobtrusively and unnoticed.
18. Life Through a Lens – ‘exaggerating perspective will help set your subject in context and provide a more forgiving depth of field’ – use a wide angle lens (or even a fisheye).
19. Expect the Expected – people can be suspicious of street photographers so shoot in places where people expect to see people doing photography. Smile, be polite and be willing to delete images if people protest.
20. Location, Location, Location – really this is what it is all about. Choose places where people interact with one another and times when they are present.
If you still remember Friendscino is the restaurant that sponsor Crocs launch last time. Formerly known as “Friendster Cafe” located at Damansara Perdana has now re-brand and redesign into a lifestyle destination icon with urban interiors design, offering lovers of fine, innovative Food & Beverage will rubs their hands in glee.
When talk about the environment, I really love the way they decorate it. With number of soft and comfortable sofa, you still can enjoy your cocktail while watch the football match. Not mention the color combination, they put the color that I like it. It’s RED! They also decorate the wall by hang a lot of unique picture to make the restaurant more warmth.
The another things that I realized are, they have outdoor space as smoking area. I also love the barrel table and it’s looks like cowboy bar style. For those who want chill there, you can play the games that provided such as Uno and Monopoly. They also have a lot of other board games and card games.
Not mention the pool table, It’s really a good hang out place for you guys to chill with a choices of alcohol ^^
Lets we start with the appetizer. L-R: All the Caesar Salad will cost you RM12.00 and if you want to add any mixture, you need to add another RM5.00. The caesar salad is made from romanie lettuce with caesar dressing, minced chicken and pecorino cheese basket. The taste for all of it are the same and the only make the difference are the topping. I would like to mrecomande the salmon topping but for the grilled chicken it’s really dry.
Chicken Sausage Salad w Chorizo Sausage @ RM17.00 Caesar Salad w Salmon @ 17.00 Caesar Salad w Grilled Chicken @ RM17.00
Some people might love to have their soup right after appetizer but not for me. The bread is remind me to the espresso soup that I had last time with Blup Blup. Like usual mushroom soup, of course it’s came with the bread. The garlic bread was serve together with the creme of sweede ssoup. The soup was ok since it’s not too light or thick. There really have a strong taste of mushroom and it’s not like other cafe who are use so much thickening agents and make the mushroom taste more flour than mushroom. Top L: Wild Mushroom Soup @ RM16.00 Top R: Creme of Sweede Soup @ RM8.00
For some tapas, they have few varieties. I like to dip my fried tortilla to the gravy that provided. Filling with tomato and topped wit mozarella cheese it’s really great! Toast briache bread with a smocked salmon really awesome! Perfect food for chill around with girls *ahem* Bottom L: Deep Fried Tortilla @ RM12.00 Bottom R: Bruschetta Smaocked Salmon @ RM6.00
If you feel want try their pasta, maybe you can share with your friends since I was been inform by the manager that it’s only cost you at RM28.00 for 2-3 person. Of course not the fried mee. For the pasta, you can order your own favourite pasta where they have Spaghetti, Linguine, Fettuccine, Farfalle & tortellini. It’s quite good when you can order your own favourite pasta.
For me, it’s too much bacon then the spaghetti. For the sauce, it’s really creamy and I remember hanie said “OMG! I found a perfect carbonara” Top L: Spaghetti Beef Bacon Carbonara @ RM16.00
I believe that you guys wont order it when you going for the 1st date. Too much parsley and for girls, please stand by pocket mirror to check either your teeth have chopped parsley or not. Top R: Seafood Pesto Spaghetti @ RM16.00
It’s just a normal fried mamak mee, where I rather go to normal mamak stall to order it. A little bit expensive and too oily for me. Bottom L: Fried Mamak Mee @ RM12.00
It’s a little bit like dumpling where they have meat that stuffed inside it. Bottom R: Tortellini Bolognaie @ RM16.00
I really fan of salmon. I love their skin where at one side is crispy and another ide have a little bit fat. Girls, it’s only a little bit ya. The meat was ok but a little bit dry. So, I need more sauce on it! I forget the name of another salmon (right picture). For salmon lover, recommended to try eat them ^^ Norwegian Salmon (left picture) @ RM27.00
Looking for a steak? All of the steak served together with french fries and sauteed vegetables. Really disappointed with their steak where all of it are over cooked sweet. Since they put so much raisin on it. Maybe for presentation but I still prefer the taste even the presentation is bad. From the picture also you can see that there have a layer of oil mix with the gravy. L-R: Grilled Sirloin Steak @ RM27.00 New Zealand Lamb Chopped @ RM27.00
New Zealand Lamb Shank @ RM27.00 It’ a slow braised lamb shank with Asian spies. If you ask me the taste, it’s more like malay wedding lamb shank.
Barbecue Platter @ RM68.00 I believe this is the expensive meal on the menu. I really love to try it but at the end, there is no special at all. Just combination of braised lamb cutlet, chorizo lamb sausage and chorizo beef sausage served with the sauce and french fries. The meat overcooked and a little bit chewy.
Dessert to complete your meal. Whenever I had a proper meal, I need a desert to complete it.
The MUST dessert you should order. The texture really soft where the warm pudding mix with cold vanilla ice cream. I went to other table and once I saw there still have leftover, I finish it. Rebbeca said “damn hungry is it?” Top L: Bread & Butter Pudding @ RM12.00
Tassed strawberry fruits with freshly whipped cream, mint leaf and fruit sauce. Not really like it. Top R: Strawberry Ramanoff @ RM12.00
Just a mango that cut into fan shaped and topped with the vanilla ice cream + pistachio nuts. Bottom L: Fan Mango Fruit @ RM7.00
Like usual banana split, the 3 scoops of ice cream sandwiched in the middle of 2 slices of banana. Bottom R: Banana Split @ RM8.00
Overall I will vote: 8/10 for the service. Efficient & Friendly. 6/10 for the food quality and quantity. A little bit pricey and nee improvement. 8/10 for the environment. Cosy interior, clean and comfortable. Love the decoration.

Chicken Fried Rice @ RM14.80.
Fried Rice with Beef Bacon @ RM14.80. The fried rice cooked together with curry sauce. Not too oily but the portion damn small.
Banana Choco – Parfait @ RM10.80. the vanilla softee ice cream topped with banana and strawberries. On the bottom of the ice cream, it’s contain cornflakes. There have chocolate syrup and make the vanilla ice cream mix well in the perfection.
