At the end of the tour in August, all photos will be collected and posted on the website where Malaysians can vote their top 25 favourites. Clinique and Cleo experts will then pick the lucky winner from the pre-selected contestants. And the lucky person who guessed the correct 3 winners will win a Samsung notebook worth RM 3299!!
The winner receives a head-to-toe makeover styled by Cleo for the cover shoot and RM 5000 worth of Clinique products personalized to their skin needs. The 2 runner-ups each receive a one page write-up in Cleo and RM 3000 of Clinique products. All 3 will have a one-on-one session with their chosen career role models.
Participants will also enjoy a one-on-one, editorial-style photo shoot, and will be given a professional headshot as a token from Clinique and Cleo. They can download their photos from Clinique microsite at www.cliniquestartour.com.my. Photos taken during the roadshow will be posted online and all profiles will feature the contestants’ career aspirations. Lucky draw winners are posted on this site daily.

Still remember about Standard Chartered ICT Competition 2013 that I blogged last time? Well, this time I manage to drop by one of their roadshow for me to get more information regarding the competition. Not to mention I had opportunity to meet one of the Standard Chartered people to clarify some stuff regarding their banking system when involving properties. Kill two birds with one stone huh? 🙂

The Standard Chartered ICT (Innovation, Communication, Technology) Competition invites University/College/Polytechnic students to submit their ICT related innovative ideas in a form of a business proposal. Winners of the ICT Competition 2013 stand to win prize monies totalling RM60,000. The competition is being endorsed by MOSTI and the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).
The competition is opened to all university/college students from public and private universities/colleges 18 years and above and all Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad employees. To qualify for the competition, participants must join as a team of at least 2 members to a maximum of 5 members, and one member needs to be a Malaysian citizen. There are 3 stages in this competition.Registration begins on 13th January and closes 25th March 2013.

‘Nottingham Brings a Smile’ Charity Carnival 2011/2012
The University of Nottingham will be hosting the ‘Nottingham Brings a Smile’ Charity Carnival in conjunction with the university’s Open day on the 24th of March 2012 (Saturday)! Come join us from 9am to 7pm for a day of great fun and excitement. Let us come together and take this opportunity to be part of a charitable cause by raising funds for the Malaysian Rare Disorder Society (MRDS) and Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation (MCR).
We will be having a variety of booths ranging from food and games to exciting performances, an Honest Mistake album launch and an ultimate splash off water balloon fight! So do your part in helping the less fortunate and make a difference with us while having fun ! You will definitely not regret this!
