I was searching a few of best dim sum in seremban & nilai. My searching end up with the Min kok Restaurant that located just a stone throw from era walk (terminal 2). Normaly went I had my food hunting around seremban, I will saw a lot of peeople that waiting outside of the restaurant. So, I ask my housemate having our breakfast at Min Kok.
Min Kok, probably the biggest Chinese restaurant in all of Negeri Sembilan. The massive restaurant sits right next to the main commercial center of Era Square (from Era Walk, nearby Terminal 2),
As for the price, the dim sum goes from RM 2.50 to RM6.00.
Once we reach there, that’s the number that we receive. Wait…wait…and wait…
The crowd inside the restaurant and can host over 150 tables. It is very reasonable price especially that the dinning area is fully air conditioned and has plenty of staff that always go around and stand by the food.
For those never went to the Dim Sum restaurant before, this how they serve the food. They have a few of staff with the trolley and bring the food. You need to call them and take what they have. They will mark on your menu list (looks like punch card) based on what you order.
Our table on that day. The food that serve in Min kok is very fresh and not left overnight. Some of staff came around 4am (kitchen) and some came on 6am (restaurant).
Food…where are you? XD
One of the expensive stuff that cost us @ RM18.
The prawn dim sum is one of my favorite and must try in my dim sum menu list. I had about a double of it. The fried carrot cake just ordinary which is I tried better than cheras night market carrot cake.
Some of the dim sum that we had. We were served quite a variety of their offering.
Duck & pork.
Overall I will vote: 7/10 for the service. Efficient even though the freak crowd. 8/10 for the food quality and quantity of the food excellent. I got to say that I was quite impressed with the quality of food there. 6/10 for the environment. Just ordinary wedding type.
